The Thanet RISE Project stands for Rough Sleeper Intervention Support and Empowerment

. It is a partnership between Thanet District Council, Invicta Health Care, Forward Trust, DWP and Serveco.

We have strong links to Citizens Advice Bureau, Porchlight and local reputable landlords.

The aim of the project is to help those who are rough sleeping or at risk of rough sleeping to provide wrap around multi-agency support to tackle any underlying issues preventing clients from living a purposeful and meaningful life.

RISE aims to help rough sleepers find and keep somewhere to live, by ensuring the support services that are needed are joined up and in one place. For many people, finding accommodation is just the first step on the ladder. We address the underlying reasons someone might struggle to stay in accommodation. We then try to find suitable accommodation and provide support to help clients to sustain their accommodation and rebuild their lives.
