🔹 A/Prof Mariusz Skwarczynski (University of Queensland)
Title: Vaccines from misinformation through COVID to antimicrobial resistance.
Mariusz Skwarczynski is a leading researcher in vaccine development and nanotechnology. After completing his PhD in Chemistry at Wrocław University of Technology (Poland) in 1999, he undertook postdoctoral research in Japan before joining The University of Queensland in 2008. His research focuses on nanotechnology-based peptide vaccines and novel vaccine delivery systems. Recognised internationally for his contributions to subunit vaccine research, he has published more than 190 peer-reviewed publications and serves in editorial roles for several leading scientific journals. He was ranked among the world's top experts in subunit vaccines and continues to advance innovative approaches to vaccine development and immunotherapy.
