Hop into summer fun every Tuesday at the Cathedral with family-friendly activities inspired by the citywide Peter Rabbit: Tales on the Tyne art trail. Families can enjoy a daily explorer trail, a cosy reading and activity space in St Margaret’s Chapel, and a range of bookable creative sessions designed for young adventurers. Tuesday 11 August, 10:30am–12pm Explore the Cathedral with an indoor nature story walk (ages 5+) Discover the natural world woven into the Cathedral’s spaces on an imaginative indoor story walk. Explore beautiful images and hidden details, hear the stories behind them, and then create your own nature-inspired characters to take home on a ‘story stick’. Tickets: ‘Give as You Feel’ (£3 suggested donation per participant). Please book in advance via TicketSource to help us prepare enough materials for everyone.
