About This Event

The Suicide Awareness and Prevention event at Northampton - Newland House in Northampton will be free to attend on 30 November 2026. The event aims to raise awareness and support in preventing suicide.

Let's come together to raise awareness and support each other in preventing suicide at our event.

This course is ideal for service users, their families, carers and clinicians to learn about the importance of warning signs, knowing the questions to ask, how to listen and access effective support to reduce the likelihood of suicide.

Facilitators will refer to their “lived experience” and why they are passionate and motivated about suicide reduction.

Information will be provided and discussions will be facilitated to increase participants understanding of a really difficult subject that needs to be talked about.

Please note that this course contains frank discussion of suicide as well as videos and other content that could be distressing. Please contact us before booking if you are unsure if this course is right for you.
