Join a guided circular walk at the magnificent Belton Estate on Thursday 13 August, commencing promptly at 10:30am. This engaging excursion, expertly led by a dedicated volunteer Ranger, promises a fascinating exploration of the estate's diverse landscapes. Prepare to wander through enchanting wood pastures, discover the meticulously kept gardens, and marvel at ancient trees that stand as silent witnesses to centuries past. The route has been thoughtfully designed to offer participants breathtaking views of the estate's historic and much-admired deer herd. Throughout the walk, your Ranger will share insightful details about the park's rich history, its conservation efforts, and the fascinating wildlife that calls Belton home. You'll also have the opportunity to appreciate the picturesque scenery along the river Witham. This enriching experience is entirely free to attend, offering a wonderful chance to connect with nature and heritage.

The route follows the river Witham and passes through the Wilderness Gardens. Participants will cross open parkland to view the house from a distance at the HaHa before visiting the ornate Pleasure Gardens. The walk explores diverse habitats and less familiar areas of the park.

The walk covers a distance of 5km and takes between 2 and 3 hours.
