In the first installment of this unique series workshop for clinicians wanting to work in neuroscience-informed way, Chad Luke, a leading figure, author and educator in neuroscience and psychotherapy integration, together with Ana Lund, will discuss what are the basic guidelines to follow and knowledge to acquire in order to become neuroscience-informed clinician.
See it as 101 of neuroscience and psychotherapy integration. The second installment of this series will be focussed on neuroscience of trauma - this initial workshop is recommended to acquire the basic notions.
Drawing on the recently published 3rd edition of Chad's classic "Neuroscience for Counseling And Therapists", in this workshop outline the five factors of integration that create meaningful change in a session.
We will provide practical, hands-on clinical examples and talk about what how neuroscience framing can be helpful.
We will underline some of the principles of good use of neuroscience in psychotherapy and its ethics.
Chad will share his vast experience of this field, and we will discuss some of the challenges the field is experiencing.
We will allow for plenty of time for interaction with the attendees and questions.
