About This Event

Kerry Woodcock leads an online workshop on 19 November 2026 exploring menopause as a developmental threshold through an archetypal lens. The session examines how hidden parts of the self emerge during this transition, moving beyond the idea that emotional changes indicate something has gone wrong. Tickets cost from £1.00.

What inspired this workshop?

Over the past few years, Kim Corrigan and Kerry Woodcock have noticed a common pattern in conversations with women navigating the menopausal transition. Many arrive believing something has gone wrong—that they have become more emotional, less tolerant, or somehow "less themselves."

What Kim and Kerry have witnessed is something quite different.

Again and again, they see menopause as a profound developmental threshold. The strategies that carried women through the first half of life—being the good daughter, capable professional, dependable partner, or selfless mother—often begin to lose their grip. What can feel like disruption is often an invitation to meet parts of ourselves that have been hidden, silenced, or carried for far too long.

What will you explore together?

Through the archetypal lens, you'll explore why shadow often becomes more visible during the menopausal transition, how unfinished patterns seek completion, and why emotions such as rage, resentment, grief, and longing can become powerful catalysts for growth.

This extended experiential workshop gives you space not only to understand the framework, but to apply it to your own experience. Through guided reflection, dialogue, and experiential practices, you'll explore the Maiden, Mother, Hero, and Father archetypes and notice which patterns, limiting beliefs, and emerging possibilities feel most alive for you now.

You’ll identify one pattern or piece of unfinished business that may be asking for your attention, experience different ways of working with what emerges, and choose one reflective or embodied practice to continue beyond the workshop.

What makes this approach unique?

Drawing on Kim Corrigan's 20 years as a mental health nurse, certification as a Women's Coaching Specialist, and more than a decade as an organizational development consultant, together with Kerry Woodcock's expertise as an ICF- and EMCC-credentialed coach, coaching supervisor, and coach educator, specializing in adult development, systems thinking, and transformational coaching, Kim and Kerry create a learning experience that is both deeply reflective and practical.

Designed first and foremost as an opportunity to do the work on yourself, this workshop is ideal for women navigating midlife, men wanting to better understand and support the women in their lives, and coaches, therapists, and helping professionals seeking to deepen their own awareness while gaining insights to enrich their work with clients.

Rather than asking, **"What's wrong with me?"**, this workshop invites a different question:

"**What unfinished business is life asking me to complete?**"

Above all, this workshop is an invitation to slow down, listen deeply, and discover what this season of life may be asking of you—and to leave with a practice for continuing that exploration in everyday life.

For the best experience, we recommend joining from a laptop or larger screen rather than a phone, as we’ll be working with visual frameworks as well as reflection and dialogue.
