The journey towards a supported handstand will be explored during an online session on 20 March 2027. Various performers will discuss the posture Adho Mukha Vrksana and its stages for everyone. The venue is currently listed as TBA.
The Journey Towards Supported HANDSTAND Adho Mukha Vrksasana is a posture that all can work towards. THERE ARE STAGES FOR EVERYONE The asana will be approached using moves we are all familiar with. There will be specific techniques to strengthen and stretch the relevant muscles and the posture will be broken down and considered stage by stage. Everyone will find a stage to work with and be given a path on which to progress. The day is very much about the ‘Journey’ towards this asana. All we need is a wall as our support, our usual yoga equipment and an open heart. Zoe will lead us through the pose and with a safe, accessible approach, we explore the varied elements of this pose and see where this may take us. With over 40 years of yoga practice, Zoe is a Diploma Course Teacher and regular with the British Wheel of Yoga with an outlook that is based on a fundamental approach of building strength, both in body and in mind, as a cornerstone of practice so that all poses become possible
