Synopsis

For this the fifth annual event from BCS Oxfordshire celebrating women across IT and Computer Science, we welcome a range of undergraduate students and a keynote from the academic Maryam Sultana.

On Tuesday 13th October (Ada Lovelace Day) The BCS scheme Levelling Up: Computer Science, which funds undergraduate women to mentor year 12 school girls is presented with insights from this year's mentors. Salma Salman presents her time at Pfizer as a Cybersecurity Solutions Operations Analyst Maryam Sultana gives an account of her career so far and her experience of being a woman in computing.

Our events are for adults aged 16 years and over.

This meeting is conducted in accordance with the BCS Code of Conduct for Meetings (https://www.bcs.org/media/egnkzp3f/bcs-code-of-conduct-for-meetings.pdf).
