We are hosting a weekend getaway in Oxford for anyone who enjoys sketching outdoors and meeting fellow artists. This is a relaxed, low-pressure gathering where the main goal is simply to spend time outside with our sketchbooks, explore some of the city's quieter corners, and share ideas. Whether you are a seasoned painter or someone who just likes to doodle in a notebook, you will find a welcoming group of peers here. We will pick a few scenic spots around the university and local parks to set up our chairs, work at our own pace, and enjoy the atmosphere. The plan is to keep things informal, so feel free to bring whatever supplies you are most comfortable using. We will meet up in the mornings to find a spot, sketch for a few hours, and then break for lunch together at a nearby cafe or pub. It is a great way to step away from the daily routine, focus on your work, and connect with others in the community. If you have been looking for a reason to get out and draw, we would love to have you join us for the weekend. Please let us know if you can make it by updating your RSVP so we can get a sense of numbers.
