You are invited to the 2026 Agricultural Farm Tour!

This educational and engaging annual tour brought to you by the Peterborough Agricultural Roundtable, provides a unique opportunity for municipal elected officials/candidates and township staff to gain firsthand insight into the vital role agriculture plays in our local economy, communities, and rural landscape.

Agriculture remains a significant economic driver, contributing to our region's employment, supporting businesses throughout the supply chain, stewarding our natural resources, and helping ensure a secure and sustainable food system.

The farm tour offers participants the opportunity to meet local producers, learn about modern farming practices, and better understand the opportunities and challenges facing the sector today.Throughout the day, attendees will visit a variety of agricultural operations that showcase the diversity, innovation, and resilience of Peterborough County agriculture.

Discussions will highlight issues related to land use planning, economic development, environmental stewardship, food production, and the importance of protecting and supporting agricultural lands for future generations.
