We’re excited to bring you this special community social hike, created through the collaboration between The Breakthrough Project and EmPowerHer Ventures. Two organisations passionate about bringing people together, encouraging connection, and creating opportunities for positive experiences in the outdoors.

This relaxed 5-mile hike from Ivybridge is designed to help people step away from the everyday, explore the beautiful Gateway to Dartmoor, and connect with others in a friendly and welcoming environment.

The focus isn’t on pace or performance, it’s about community, conversation, and enjoying the simple benefits of getting outside. Whether you’re new to hiking, looking to meet new people, or just want to spend an afternoon surrounded by nature, this event is open to everyone.

We'll take a steady and social approach, allowing everyone to enjoy the route at their own pace while making sure nobody is left behind. Expect great scenery, good conversations, and the opportunity to build new connections along the way.

After the hike, we’ll finish at The Rusty Tractor Café in Ivybridge, where participants can relax over a coffee, cake, or a bite to eat and continue the conversations started on the trail.
