Finding your voice is not about performance. It is not about being louder. It is about coming home to your breath, your body, and your lived experience. Through gentle, body-led practices, we explore the voice as a path to deeper connection — to ourselves, to our boundaries, and to our sense of belonging. This is a space to feel, to soften, to sound, and to be heard — at your own pace, in your own time. You are not too much. You are not too emotional, too quiet, too loud, or too sensitive. You are whole, and your voice matters. Workshop Overview Find Your Voice is a trauma-informed monthly workshop for women exploring voice through the body. Each session combines somatic movement, breathwork, and vocal exploration to support: Nervous system regulation Embodied self-awareness A more free, grounded, and expressive voice These workshops are consent-based, accessible, and require no previous vocal experience. They are open to all women, inclusive of all identities and lived experiences. Why Voice and the Nervous System? Your voice is deeply connected to your breath, your emotions, and your sense of safety. When the nervous system is under stress, the voice can tighten, shake, or become silent. The vagus nerve plays a central role in this system — influencing breath, digestion, heart rate, and emotional tone. Practices such as humming, chanting, breathwork, and grounding support vagal tone, and in doing so: Help regulate anxiety, overwhelm, and freeze states Create a felt sense of inner safety Allow for clearer, more authentic self-expression By combining voice with body-led awareness, these sessions create a space to explore sound not as performance, but as presence.
