Build an original piece of short fiction from scratch in this multi-session workshop (Mondays from November 2nd to 30th inclusive).

Complete Fabrication is a multi-session workshop designed to help you create an original short story of 1000 words from scratch.

For anyone who doesn't live in Sheffield or cannot access our Workshop space, a totally online version will be offered in the afternoon on the same days. Click here to be redirected.

The sessions take place on Mondays on the following dates:

November 2nd - Session 1: Ideas generation (Writers Workshop, 6:30-8:45PM)

November 9th - Session 2: Story craft (Writers Workshop, 6:30-8:45PM)

November 16th - Session 3: Creative critique and editing (ONLINE 7:00-9:00PM)

November 23rd - Session 4: One-to-one story consultations & writing time (ONLINE 7:00-9:00PM)

November 30th - Session 5: Share and celebrate! (City centre venue, to be confirmed, 6:30-8:45PM)

Each workshop will be facilitated by Rosie Carnall and Lorna Partington.

Refunds are available up to 7 days before the start date.

Tickets are not available for individual sessions, and we cannot issue partial refunds, so please ensure you can attend every session before you book.

Unfortunately, the Writers Workshop does not have step-free access. If you would like to participate, please book an online ticket.

If the minimum number of bookings is not attained, this event will be rescheduled and a full refund will be issued.
