A fiction writing workshop focused on experimenting and finding new directions in your writing in a friendly environment

In this generative workshop, we will explore different aspects in fiction writing. We will spend our time in class writing, sharing our work, and discussing some aspect of the craft of writing.

It will be a opportunity to experiment with your writing and to start some new projects.

We will take inspiration from contemporary stories and novels, use constraints to tighten our prose, and do writing exercises from writers such as George Saunders and Ursula Le Guin.

This will be a chance to find new directions in your writing, to exercise your fiction writing muscle, and to break out of writing ruts.
