Forest Walk - Picture This
Join us for a forest bathing experience in the beautiful Linacre Woods, which surround the reservoirs. It's the perfect way to unwind, breathe in the fresh air, and soak up the serene vibes. Whether you want to relax or just escape the daily hustle, this walk is made for you. Come ready to connect with nature and enjoy some cool, calm moments surrounded by the forest.
For this session, we will partake in sensory activities to deepen our connection to the surroundings. In Autumn, there are many magical treasues to be found. What will yours be?
We will be walking less than 1 mile and stopping regularly to use our different senses to really tune in to the natural world. The session will end with a tea ceremony, as a Shinrin Yoku session would in Japan.
Find out more about forest bathing on this walk, and how much it can benefit your health.
Hi, I'm Holly - The Nature Coach - and my aim is to help as many people as possible to find awe, wonder and inner peace in nature!
Nature has always been there for me whenever I've been having a tough time, and I know how healing, calming and restorative it can be.
Spending time outdoors and in nature is beneficial however you do it, but the forest bathing principles that I teach make my sessions much more than 'just going for a walk'. I am a trained Shinrin Yoku practitioner (with Nature and Therapy UK) so I know how best to enable people to slow down, connect with their environment and feel connected and grounded.
I am also a qualified Hill and Moorland leader (with Mountain Training England) and an outdoor First Aider (ITC First) and well as being a self-certified nature nerd!
