WHAT TO EXPECT

Led by a Chartered Physiotherapist from Village Physio®, these friendly sessions include gentle, mainly chair-based physiotherapy exercises designed to support:

✓ Strength and mobility

✓ Balance and falls prevention

✓ Flexibility and everyday movement

✓ Confidence with walking and moving

✓ Maintaining mobility and independence as you get older

You don't need to be fit or exercise regularly to join in. Exercises can be adapted for different abilities, health conditions and injuries, allowing you to work at an appropriate level with professional physiotherapy guidance.

WHO IS THE GROUP FOR?

These free Rotherham physiotherapy and exercise sessions are designed for women aged 45+ who would like to become stronger, steadier and more active.

They may be particularly helpful if you:

• Want to improve your strength, balance or mobility

• Want to reduce your risk of falls

• Experience stiffness or reduced mobility

• Are returning to activity following illness or injury

• Have become less active and want to start moving again

• Want to maintain your independence as you get older

• Prefer gentle exercise with professional guidance

No previous exercise experience is required.
