During the workshop, participants will learn how to create their own inkle bands using traditional methods. They will be guided through the process of warping up a loom, reading warping drafts and pattern charts, and weaving on both an inkle loom and a backstrap loom. A variety of decorative patterns, techniques, colours, and yarns will be used to create woven samples.

The workshop is suitable for beginners and all materials and equipment will be provided. Participants are welcome to bring their own inkle loom if they have one. The workshop will cover the entire weaving process, from start to finish, allowing participants to take home their own creations.

The event is free for those who wish to observe, while hands-on participants are required to pay £60.00.
