The Sheffield Marketing Meetup is an informal, friendly place for the marketers of Sheffield to meet, learn, and share knowledge with one another. Come in 'listen' not 'sell' mode 🙂
We're headed to the lovely Head Post Office at Sheffield Hallam Uni for this one. We just want to get together, say hello, have a chat, and have a nice time.
Think of this as a community event, where the focus is very much on you meeting other people in a chilled out, friendly space. We’ll chat over food and drink, listen to an inspirational speaker or two, chat some more, and go home buzzing with new contacts and new ideas.
Let’s have a lovely night in the company of some amazin’ people.
--------------------
Speaker: Robin Williams, Digital Consultant - Strategy, Delivery & Growth
Topic: AI Did the Coding. I Did the Thinking. Here's What I Learned
In 10 days, Robin built 10 small digital tools using AI to code for him. It was a challenge undertaken to help understand what AI could actually do within strict timelines. And a way to test (and improve) his skills with using AI.
What he didn't expect was how much it would change the way he uses AI for everything else - including his marketing.
This is a short, honest talk about that project. Robin will share the useful bits, the frustrating bits, and what his shift from using AI as a chat tool - to using it as a proper workflow partner - looked like.
Attendees will walk away with either a new way of thinking about AI as a supporting tool in their own work. Or, they'll get reassurance about how they're already approaching and using AI in their roles.
--------------------
The format of the night:
6.00 pm - doors open - food, drinks, networking, and smiles
6.30 pm - introduction and talks begin
7.15 pm - talks finish, networking, listening, saying hello, and positively lovely people - a nice chilled out time 🙂
8:00 pm - end of the night - you leave with new contacts and fresh ideas
