Landlords across Barnsley, Doncaster, Sheffield and Rotherham are warmly invited to the South Yorkshire Landlord Forum 2026.

This is a free event being hosted by South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority and LetZero, in partnership with the National Residential Landlords Association (NRLA).

With knowledgeable speakers, question time sessions with expert panels, and information stalls provided by a range of landlord-facing services, this is the standout opportunity to come together and debate joint challenges for the sector. There will be dedicated time to ask questions and discuss the topics of greatest concern to you with our panel.

A primary focus is the Renters Rights Act, and speakers will outline how to comply with the new legislation and some common mistakes to avoid. There will also be sessions on safeguarding for landlords, property leasing and supported housing, giving examples of collaboration happening across the region to help vulnerable households maintain their tenancies and reduce homelessness.

Other topics include the Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards and help available to make your properties warmer and healthier.

Light refreshments are on offer and there will be plenty time for networking with other landlords, stall holders and sector leaders.
