The Future Chemistry Hub Talk: Claire Adjiman will be held at the University of Southampton Highfield Campus in Southampton on 17th September 2026, with free admission.
Join us to learn about journeys into Chemistry and Chemical Engineering as part of the 2026 British Science Festival!
Claire Adjiman is a Professor of Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London, where she teaches, leads a research group and is Director of the Sargent Centre for Process Systems Engineering, a joint research centre between Imperial and UCL. Her research on how to design more sustainable manufacturing processes has taught her how important it is for chemists and chemical engineers to work together to bridge the gap between the scale of molecules and the scale of industrial production. She collaborates with industry to address challenges in pharmaceutical manufacturing, plastics recycling and carbon capture.
