LOLER, PUWER & PSSR Explained: Essential Inspection Knowledge for Workplace Safety

Presented by Zurich Engineering this session will examine the requirements for statutory examinations and inspections under UK legislation. It will take a practical, engaging look at how UK health and safety law shapes inspection and statutory examination under PSSR, LOLER and PUWER, the duties under ACOPs as well as the potential for risks for enforcement action from enforcement bodies. It will take in the history of engineering inspections and the development to today’s standards, demonstrating why competent inspection is essential.

This session will be of interest to those who a responsible for the provision, operation and maintenance, of equipment in the workplace, for example crane to tail lifts, boilers and compressors to barista coffee machines, machinery and guarding. It will be useful for those responsible for ensuring compliance and auditing, as well as those looking to advance their careers in OSH giving and understanding and knowledge to implement the appropriate safety systems.

This is an in‑person event intended for those based in the region of South Coast. Please only register if you are able to travel to the venue.
