Free monthly networking for Eccleshall businesses. August's session: discover free Staffordshire business support with Staffordshire Council

Did you know that Staffordshire County Council offers a range of completely free business support programmes, and that most local businesses have never even heard of them?

We're putting that right at our August networking morning!

About this session

We are delighted to welcome Sophie Carol from Staffordshire County Council, who will be joining us to walk through the free support currently available to businesses across Staffordshire. This is a brilliant opportunity to find out what you might be eligible for and how to access it straight from the source.

The programmes Sophie will be covering include:

Get Started and Grow

Fully funded support for businesses under 5 years old. Choose from a tailored package covering website build, branding and logos, legal support, or masterclass workshops in social media, marketing and accountancy. If your business is in its early years, this one is not to be missed.

Achieve and Grow

Designed for businesses that have been trading for 5 or more years with between 2 and 10 employees who are ready to take the next step. This programme offers 6 hours of fully funded support across key business areas to help you scale with confidence.

Women in Business

A programme offering start-up workshops, business support and mentoring, expert-led events and networking opportunities, all aimed at building confidence, gaining valuable business insight and connecting women in business across Staffordshire.

Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Growth Hub

Sophie will also be sharing information about the Growth Hub, the single point of contact for free expert business advice, funding programmes and specialist support to help your business grow. You can also reach the Growth Hub directly on 0300 111 8002.

As always, this is a relaxed, open and friendly morning, not a formal presentation. Come with your questions, your curiosity and your notebook, and leave knowing exactly what free support is available to you and how to access it. Tea and coffee are available to buy from The Kings Arms throughout the morning.

This session is open to all business owners, freelancers, sole traders and entrepreneurs in Eccleshall and the surrounding areas, whether you're brand new in business, looking to grow or simply want to find out what support is out there. Everyone is welcome.
