Join us for Trans Talks—a relaxed, peer-led discussion group where our community comes together to share, learn, and thrive.
Are you looking for a place where your identity isn’t just "accepted," but celebrated? Welcome to Trans Talks, a monthly gathering at Project 93 dedicated to the trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse community of Staffordshire.
Why Trans Talks?
We know that navigating the world as a trans person can sometimes feel isolating. Whether it’s dealing with the complexities of healthcare, exploring your identity, or just looking for people who understand your lived experience without you having to explain it—we’re here for you.
Trans Talks isn't a clinical service; it’s a community-led peer support space. It’s a chance to build resilience, find your "tribe," and share the joy and challenges of our journeys in a safe, confidential environment.
What to Expect
Each session is built around a specific theme—ranging from practical topics like legal rights and well-being to lighter, fun discussions about queer culture and history.
Thoughtful Conversation: Share your voice or just listen in; there’s never any pressure to speak.
Lived Experience Insight: We encourage attendees to share their own lived experiences. We believe that our community holds a wealth of knowledge, and by sharing our stories, we help each other navigate the world with more confidence and strength.
Lasting Connections: Many of our regular attendees have built strong friendships that extend far beyond these four walls.
Want something more casual? Try our Trans Social! ☕
Sometimes, you just want a brew and a chat without a set topic. That’s why we also run a laid-back Trans Social.
If the idea of a structured discussion feels a bit much for your first time, or if you just want to hang out in a low-pressure environment, the Social is for you. It’s all about making friends and feeling at home. It’s the perfect "entry point" if you’re feeling a little nervous about coming along!
