Free 6 week course exploring how nature supports wellbeing - for adults living with any long term health conditions in South Warwickshire
Why join the course?
Spending time in nature has a wide range of health and wellbeing benefits.
Science shows us that being in a natural environment has a calming effect on our bodies, can reduce our blood pressure, lower our stress levels and boost our immune system. Nature also encourages curiosity, creativity and playfulness.
What will I be doing?
This gentle course is for adults living with any long term health conditions who live in South Warwickshire. The course will:
explore what nature means to you,
show you some very practical things you can do to enjoy and learn about the nature on your doorstep,
allow you to be curious and creative in nature,
show you some practical ways you can help nature,
remind us that time in nature can help us all feel better
What do you mean by long term health condition?
By long term health condition we mean anything that affects your every day life which may be a physical or mental health condition. It could include, but by no means be limited too; respitiatory conditions, diabetes, chronic fatigue, muscle and joint conditions, depression, anxiety, long covid.
