The Inner Altar: A Samhain Retreat will be held at The Social Centre in Avebury on 31 October 2026. This two-day wellness retreat invites participants to explore their inner selves and celebrate the seasonal significance of Samhain.
Dive deep into your soul and celebrate the magic of Samhain with a 2 day retreat to connect deeply with the season and what it offers.
The Inner Altar is a two-day experiential workshop.
31st October & 1st November 2026
Samhain is a powerful threshold
A threshold revered by pagan ancestors of this isle. As the wheel of the year turns at this time we gather in the ancient landscape of Avebury to explore our inner dimensions and the outer realms of the landscape.
Over the two days, we will come together in a private setting in the village for shared practices, meditation, energy work and healing ceremony.
Guided by Ashley Jones and Magnus Robinson, we will explore the ancient sites, the energetic currents and subtle weaves of the landscape that draw so many people to this place.
As the nights grow longer and the season turns inward, we will create space to listen to what is ready to be released, honoured or renewed.
The retreat is held in a safe, ceremonial field, spacious, inclusive, and deeply human, each participant is met exactly where they are.
The rhythm of the weekend
Saturday · Stepping up to the threshold
9am – 1pm · Private temple space
We begin together in our private location within Avebury village, opening the workshop through connection, shared practice, meditation, energy work and intention.
Afternoon · Out on the land
The afternoon invites us into the landscape. There will be time to walk, listen, reflect and connect with the land, allowing the ancient stones and the turning season to become part of our experience.
Sunday · The inner altar
Early morning · Optional gathering on the land
For those who wish to join, we will meet early on or around Silbury Hill, welcoming the day and connecting with the landscape.
11am – 4pm · Private temple space
We return to our shared space for our second session, moving deeper into practice, ceremony, inner connection, healing and integration.
Together, we will honour what has been, make space for what is ready to be released, and bring the weekend to a close.
