Award winning 'The Sea Glass Studio' is a welcoming place to do both.

A space to have fun, get creative, ignite new passions and meet like-minded people. Everyone is welcome here, whether you’re local, or visiting Cornwall on holiday… you’ll be able to take a piece home with you to remember.

Sea Glass Jewellery - Wire Wrapping Workshop

No experience neccesary - Suitable for total beginners :) This is the perfect workshop if you want to make jewellery at home without lots of equiptment.

The process:

During this 1.5 hour workshop, you will learn the basics of wire wrapping. Turning a beautiful piece of cornish sea glass into a necklace or pair of earrings.

To start with, you will learn how to work with sterling silver wire, understanding the techniques and tools needed to create your jewellery.

You will then learn how to create a neat and secure wire wrapped setting, adding your own decorative touches.

All materials and tools will be provided. At the end of the day, you will take home your very own handcrafted necklace or earrings – as well as a cotton pouch to keep it safe. Sterling silver chain is inclided if making a necklace

Additional information:

All pieces and components will be made using 100% recycled sterling silver.

I will pre drill the holes in the sea glass before the workshop starts.

There are plenty of places to grab a bite to eat before or after the workshop. Muddy Beach Cafe, Sunshine Studio Cafe and Baileys Country Store are all close by!

Meet Rip!

This good boy will greet and welcome you into ‘The sea glass studio’ upon arrival..

He loves cuddles (of course) and big long snooooozes on his window perch in the sunshine. Whilst we’re busy making away, Rip enjoys hanging out the window watching the birds on the river…

Fun fact, he is named after my favourite cowboy in Yellowstone 🤠
