Travel to A Thousand Journeys to Highbury in a rather special way! Enjoy a horse-drawn carriage journey through Highbury Park, connecting Kings Heath Station and Highbury Hall along a scenic route through the park.
The carriage journey takes approximately 10 - 20 minutes one way, depending on conditions, and offers a unique way to experience the historic landscape while travelling to the event.
Carriage rides will operate between approximately 11am and 2pm, with horses taking regular rest breaks to ensure their welfare. Places are limited, so booking is essential.
You can choose a time and advance book from Kings Heath station to Highbury Hall. Please check your booking time carefully and arrive promptly, as the carriage will need to keep to its timetable. The carriage will not wait for latecomers and your place will be reallocated.
From Highbury Hall back to the station will be bookable on the day once the route and timings are established you can book at the stop outside Highbury Hall from 11am on Sunday 20th September.
Places on these rides are extremely limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. The carriage will not wait for latecomers and your place will be reallocated, with no refunds or exchanges given.
Assemble for your carriage ride at Kings Heath Rail Station, Alcester Road, King's Heath, Birmingham, B14 7SN. Please note there is no car parking available at the station.

Our staff and the carriage crew can not help people up in to the carriage, there are two high steps to enter and exit.
Children must be accompanied by an adult and eveyone must book a seat and sit down throughout the ride. Baby wearing is possible on board.
Entry to A Thousand Journeys to Highbury needs to be booked separately. Please book a place via the separate Eventbrite event to ensure your entry.
