Ecstatic Dance Bournemouth is a safe and inclusive space where all are welcome to bring their authentic selves as we journey together through sound and movement.No dance skill or experience is necessary! Movement may include walking, rolling, stretching, raging, shaking or anything you feel inspired to embody.

Each event will feature an amazing Ecstatic Dance live DJ set followed by a beautiful sound journey.

Some guidance & facilitation will be provided. And then we will let the music, the community and our own inner space direct our steps, our movements, our expression, our journey.

Relaxation: Ecstatic Dance usually ends with a deep relaxation.

Ecstatic Dance is a Freeform Conscious Dance practice. As soon as you enter the space, you are invited to let go of judgements and expectations and allow yourself to feel your emotions, sensations, body, mind, and spirit. Immerse yourself in a vibrant atmosphere filled with like-minded individuals who share the love for movement and freedom. Whether you're an experienced dancer or a beginner, this event welcomes everyone with open arms.

Our Ecstatic Dance sessions have guidelines of: No booze, No Shoes, No phones, No Chit Chat, Move However You Wish, Respect yourself and others.

Schedule:

*6:45pm – Doors open

*7:10pm - Doore close

*7:15pm - Opening circle with intension and guideline

*7:25pm - Ecstatic Dance live set

*9:00pm - Sound ession

*9:20pm - Closing circle

Optional extras you may bring:

Bring a set of dry clothes/small towel as you will probably get sweaty during the session. Toilets are available at the venue but there are no separate changing rooms.

We dance barefoot, in soft indoor shoes or grip socks.

We will be sat on the floor for a short time for the meditation so please feel free to bring a blanket/ yoga mat.

Reusable water bottle.Tap water refil available at the venue.

Tickets: £20 on the door if event has not sold out.You can pay cash or card.

CHILDREN: Unfortunately these sessions are not suitable for children.

Cancellation Policy:

We do not offer refunds/ticket swaps for another event if you cannot attend if less than 72h notice if provided.

You are welcome to pass on your ticket to a friend, colleague or family member however please let us know the date & time of the booked session, name and email address of the person attending in your place. Send us an email with replacement person's details to:

If you are showing any Covid-19, please DO NOT attend the session.
