As summer begins its gentle farewell and the golden evening light softens across the New Forest, you're warmly invited to step away from the noise of everyday life and immerse yourself in a truly special outdoor experience beneath the magnificent ancient oak trees.

As you wander through the beautiful grounds behind the manor house, your senses will begin to awaken. Follow the calming aromas drifting through the air, cross the little bridge, and discover a hidden forest clearing where we'll gather together in nature.

Robin Freeman will gently guide you through a welcoming meditation, helping you slow down, quiet the mind and settle fully into the present moment.

Following the meditation, you'll be invited to enjoy a peaceful period of ambient picnic, relaxation and forest bathing. Bring along a light picnic and spend this time however feels right for you... perhaps lying beneath the ancient oak trees, wandering mindfully through the beautiful grounds, or simply sitting quietly and absorbing the peaceful surroundings. Throughout this time, a beautifully soothing ambient soundtrack, infused with gentle healing frequencies, will drift through the forest, creating a calming atmosphere to accompany your experience. We'll also begin this part of the evening with a few precious minutes of shared silence, allowing you to fully absorb the sounds of nature before gently returning to conversation or quiet reflection.

As the golden light of late summer begins to soften, we'll gather together once more for a deeply immersive 90-minute Sound Journey & Gong Bath. You'll be invited to lie back, close your eyes and surrender to a beautiful tapestry of healing sounds as Robin combines a powerful collection of gongs, singing bowls and other therapeutic instruments to create a deeply restorative experience designed to calm the nervous system, release tension and leave you feeling grounded, refreshed and renewed.

Surrounded by fresh air, nature and the peaceful energy of the New Forest, this promises to be a beautiful aftrenoon / evening of stillness, connection and deep relaxation as we gently celebrate one of the final golden evenings of summer.

Our intention is to gather outdoors beneath the magnificent ancient oak trees in the beautiful forest clearing. Should the weather decide otherwise, we'll simply carry the same peaceful atmosphere into the Centre Hall, where candlelight, beautiful aromas and the immersive soundscape will ensure the experience remains every bit as restorative and memorable.

Afterwards, you're welcome to take your time, slowly return to the world around you, and drift home whenever you feel ready.

What to bring:

✨ A yoga mat or something comfortable to lie on

✨ A blanket for warmth and comfort

✨ A cushion or pillow

✨Anything extra soft or comfy to lay on if needed

✨ A water bottle

✨ Comfortable clothing suitable for being outdoors

✨ A small picnic if you would like to enjoy one during the relaxation period

The retreat is situated just within the magical New Forest. It is a couple of minutes from the Hinton Service Station on the A35 (coming from Christchurch).

Just a short drive from Bournemouth and the surrounding areas.

Parking:

Please try not to arrive earlier than 3.45pm as i have a large setup and i would really like to be finished and ready to welcome you!

We have ample free parking on gravel at the front of The Retreat for all guests and visitors.

If you require easier access and would struggle to walk across the rear grounds to our gathering, please use our overflow gravel car park located to the left of the building. But please only use this if walking is challenging for you.

arrival:

Once you have parked up, enter the manor house via the main entrance. Head to the 'Centre Hall' and exit through the double doors. Walk across the rear grounds and over the small bridge, look over to your left and you will see us! Follow the beautiful aromas...

Toilets are located just inside the main entrance area inside the manor house.

Energy exchange:

I am asking for £30 per person for this experience.
