A slow phone photography walk along Shipley Glen, exploring the first signs of autumn.

Slow down, notice the changing season and learn creative phone photography techniques in nature.

Join us for a relaxed and friendly phone photography session with photographer Louise Rayner at Bracken Hall. We'll begin by looking at a few simple ways to get the most from your phone camera, including useful phone settings, composition tips and easy techniques to improve your photos. No photography experience is needed at all.

We'll then head out on a gentle walk along Shipley Glen and into the woodland, taking time to explore the changing season as autumn begins to arrive. Together we'll look for fungi, berries, fallen leaves and the rich colours, textures and light that make this time of year so rewarding to photograph. Along the way you'll learn creative ways to capture nature using just your phone, while enjoying time outdoors in beautiful surroundings.

Please note that this walk follows woodland paths which may be uneven, muddy and unsteady underfoot. Unfortunately, the route is not suitable for wheelchairs or prams.
