Hello and a big welcome to Shoreline Songwriters! ✨We’re Nicola Bloom & Phil Jones and we run a monthly songwriting night right here in Shoreham-by-Sea. Songwriting groups are a brilliant way to spark creativity, stay motivated, and connect with people who feel the joy and challenges!) of writing songs.

Shoreline Songwriters offers a supportive space to share ideas, get gentle, constructive feedback, pick up new skills, and build confidence. We look forward to you all enjoying the unbeatable buzz of being inspired, collaborating, and creating something new together. Whether you’re a seasoned writer, a bedroom poet, or someone who’s always wanted to give songwriting a try, we will facilitate a relaxed, creative, friendly room to work solo, collaborate and song share.

We are running a one-off songwriting retreat on Sunday 11th October for 8 people.

Participants will be well catered for with snacks, soft drinks and a lovely lunch included.

The theme is -people and places- we have a special guest from the RNLI joining us to share stories from the sea and we will have pictures and news reports connected to the shoreline, so there will be lots of material to inspire and work with.

There will be opportunities throughout the day to fine tune and share your song/ songs. We can also record your performance so you have a digital recording to take away.

We seek to develop an intergenerational and inclusive environment, where everybody has a voice.

We are holding the event on Phil's houseboat, overlooking the river Adur. We can watch the wildlife and the tide come in together.
