About This Event

Why I am a Quaker is a community event held at the Friends Meeting House in Cambridge. The session discusses the reasons for attending Sunday worship. Tickets are free.

Why do we come to meeting for worship on a Sunday, and why do we keep coming back?

Why do we come to meeting for worship on a Sunday, and why do we keep coming back? What does it mean for each of us to be a Quaker? How do we find the help to live more meaningful lives in the world? In this session you will hear from a few Cambridge Quakers on what they experience at Quakers and how Quakerism fits into their lives. Followed by a chance for questions and discussion.
