Women’s bodies are endlessly scrutinised, labelled and politicised, but who gets to decide their value? In Bimbo , broadcaster and campaigner Ashley James unpacks the labels that box women in and the systems that keep them there, exploring how misogynist language affects our daily lives and how we can break free from it. In Cash Cow , investigative journalist Alev Scott lifts the lid on the morally complex fertility industry and the commodification of the maternal body, examining how desire, desperation and commerce intersect. Together, they talk to Poorna Bell about reclaiming agency and imagining a fairer future for women, tackling urgent questions about autonomy, empowerment and who profits from women’s lives.
