Sinclair reveals the courage, ingenuity and spirit of the wartime volunteers who stood ready to defend Britain, while Jeffrey shares unique insights from his long association with the TV series and its creators, Jimmy Perry and David Croft. In conversation with Tim Hubbard , they explore how their affectionate portrayal of the Home Guard has kept this history alive for generations. There will be a book signing after this event .
