Do you want to write your story? Join award winning writer Tiffany Murray for an exclusive workshop exploring how to bring your stories to life on the page. Whether you want to write memoir, turn lived experience into fiction, want to write for publication or simply capture these stories for yourself, this supportive and fun workshop will unlock your creativity. Tiffany’s memoir, My Family and Other Rock Stars was a Sunday Times , Daily Mail , Guardian and Independent book of the year. It tells the story of growing up with Freddie Mercury and David Bowie in her mother’s kitchen. Her novels Diamond Star Halo , Happy Accidents and Sugar Hall , have been shortlisted for the Wodehouse Bollinger Prize and received the Roger Deakin Award for nature writing. Tiffany has been a Hay Festival Fiction Fellow, a Fulbright scholar and a Senior Lecturer. Her series, Hulda’s Café is available on BBC Radio 4. Ticket includes a tea or coffee and refreshments. There will be a book signing after this event.
