Actor Hannah Murray , acclaimed for her roles in Skins and Game of Thrones , has written one of the year's most talked-about memoirs. The Make-Believe traces her journey from Hollywood success to psychological collapse after becoming entangled in a cult-like organisation that promised healing and happiness. In Eat Bitter , creative director Lydia Pang explores burnout, fertility struggles and belonging through the food and philosophy of her Hakka Chinese heritage. They discuss writing memoirs relatively early in life, navigating periods of uncertainty and how difficult experiences shape our understanding of ourselves and the lives we choose to lead.
