The Access UCC Workshop for secondary school students with low or no vision will occur on 3 November 2026 at the AT Lab, Boole Library, UCC in Cork. The workshop will provide support for students facing visual challenges. There is no cost to participate.
Come join us at the Access UCC Workshop for Secondary School students with low/no vision!
Access UCC's Disability Support would like to invite you to attend a one-day fun workshop for secondary school students who have low/no vision.
We will meet in the Assistive Technology Lab in the Boole Library at 10 am.
For students, we will have some fun activities in the morning, while parents can attend an information session with UCC advisors who will outline the DARE process and current supports for students with disabilities in UCC. Current UCC students with disabilities will also share their experiences with parents and be available for questions and answers.
Lunch will then be provided for students, followed by more fun activities in the afternoon, finishing at 3 pm. (Collection from the Maradyke Arena at 3 pm)
