Cybersecurity Co-Creation Lab

Experience the attack. Test your response. Collaborate on solutions.

FREE Workshop exploring cybersecurity challenges across Property, Finance, Insurance, Legal & Professional Services.

A cyber attack won’t wait until your organisation is ready - often starting with something as simple as a single email. Test your organisation’s response and explore how you can strengthen your cyber resilience before an attack happens.

What to expect

This practical, interactive workshop brings together cyber resilience, simulation, Design Thinking and MTU Cybersecurity Research & Innovation.

🔐 Morning | Experience the Attack

Take part in a realistic cyber resilience challenge and simulation, working through an evolving cyber incident and considering how different roles across an organisation respond.

💡 Afternoon | Collaborate on Solutions

Interact with MTU Cybersecurity Researchers & work through Design Thinking and co-creation to explore the challenges raised during the morning and identify potential solutions and areas where MTU can support your organisation.

Who is it for?

The workshop is aimed at organisations across Property, Finance, Insurance, Legal and Professional Services, including estate agents, auctioneers, property managers, solicitors, accountants, brokers, consultants and other client-facing businesses.

The workshop is designed for a wide audience. In reality, anyone who uses email and digital systems as part of their day-to-day role can play a part in preventing or responding to a cyber incident.

You’ll leave with:

greater awareness of how cyber incidents can affect different parts of an organisation

experience of working through a simulated cyber incident

practical ideas for strengthening organisational response and resilience

an opportunity to explore cybersecurity challenges with MTU researchers

potential connections and support through MTU Research & Innovation.

No specialist cybersecurity knowledge is required. The challenge is designed to explore organisational resilience and response, with participants considering the different roles involved in managing a cyber incident.
