Data, Impact Reporting & SAR TrainingTurning your data into meaningful evidence of impact.
Join us for a full-day practical training session focused on Data, Impact Reporting and Self-Assessment Reporting (SAR), designed specifically to support Alternative Provision and education providers to strengthen how they collect, analyse and present evidence of their work.
Effective data collection is about much more than numbers. Providers need to be able to clearly demonstrate the difference their provision is making for children and young people, evidence progress from individual starting points, identify areas for development and use their findings to drive continuous improvement.
This session will help you move from simply collecting information to using your data to tell the story of your provision and demonstrate its impact.
What will the training cover?
Throughout the day, we will explore:
What data your provision should be collecting
Identifying meaningful KPIs and measures of success
Measuring learner progress, engagement, attendance and wider outcomes
Capturing quantitative and qualitative evidence
Demonstrating impact beyond academic attainment
Tracking progress from individual learner starting points
Using learner, parent/carer and stakeholder voice as evidence
Analysing data to identify trends, strengths and areas for development
Creating clear and meaningful impact reports
Demonstrating outcomes to commissioners, schools, Local Authorities and other stakeholders
Understanding the purpose and structure of a Self-Assessment Report (SAR)
Using data and evidence effectively within your SAR
Identifying and evidencing strengths and areas for improvement
Linking your SAR to quality improvement and development planning
Practical approaches and resources that can be taken back and implemented within your provision
Who is this training for?
This training is particularly relevant for:
Alternative Provision owners and leaders
Provision managers
Quality assurance and compliance leads
Education and curriculum leads
SEND and pastoral leads
Staff responsible for data, outcomes and reporting
