Join us for an uplifting evening of Kirtan — the ancient practice of call-and-response devotional singing.

Kirtan Circles are simple, heart-centred gatherings where people come together to sing the Divine Names in a call-and-response style. No musical experience is needed, and everyone is welcome — whether you are completely new to chanting or have been practising for many years.

Through shared singing, rhythm and devotion, Kirtan creates a peaceful space to quieten the mind, open the heart and connect more deeply with the Divine within. The practice is uplifting, accessible and naturally brings people together in a spirit of joy, love and community.

Our Kirtan Circles in Ireland are open to all. You are welcome to join in the singing, sit quietly and listen, or simply experience the atmosphere. Come as you are, bring an open heart, and enjoy an evening of devotional music, connection and inner stillness.

What to expect:

Around 90 mins of live kirtan with traditional instruments

Simple, easy-to-follow chants (words provided)

A short guided meditation to close

Tea and refreshments afterwards — a chance to connect with the community

How does it work?

Gentle opening with simple mantras & slow tempo with easy repetition and soft percussion.

Builds slowly with gradually acceleraring tempo and additional instruments, reaching a crescendo.

After a peak, there is a period of reflection and silence.

Finishing with a brief Satsang by a Bhakti Marga Ireland representative.

At the end we warmly invite participants to enjoy some light refreshments and friendly conversation about the spiritual path, music, and devotional yoga.
