Talk to Joe: Life, Liveline and Me (Hachette Ireland) is Joe Duffy’s journey of nearly three decades behind the mic of RTE Radio 1’s Liveline, taking readers inside the studio and beyond. Join us for an evening filled with Joe’s trademark warmth, humour and wit as he joins broadcaster and author Mary Kennedy in conversation, reflecting on listening to and sharing the stories, voices and moments that defined a generation.

Author Joe Duffy is the former presenter of Ireland's most popular daily radio show, Liveline, on RTE Radio 1. He also presented Liveline Callback on RTÉ One Television. Born in Dublin's Mountjoy Square and reared in Ballyfermot, he published his bestselling memoir Just Joe in 2010. In 2015, his original research on the children killed during the Easter Rising of 1916 unearthed for the first time information on the forty children who died violently that week. His books have been critically acclaimed: Children of the Rising won the non-fiction Book of the Year at the Irish Book Awards in 2015, and Children of the Troubles won Best Irish- Published Book of the Year at the Irish Book Awards in 2019. Talk to Joe is his fourth book.
