Discover the traditional craft of stained glass and create your own unique piece to take home, with expert and local glass artist Rita Griskonyte. During this full-day workshop (10am - 3.30pm), Rita will introduce you to the techniques involved in making stained glass, including glass cutting, leading, soldering and puttying. Designs will be provided and Rita will guide you through each stage of the process. Refreshments and lunch will be available to purchase from the Cathedral restaurant. You are also welcome to bring your own lunch and enjoy it in one of the Cathedral’s public spaces, including the Cloister Garth. This workshop is suitable for anyone aged 18 and over. No previous experience is necessary; simply bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to try something new.
