Andy Peter Nobbs, known professionally as Jazzy Poet, is a spoken word artist and writer with a passion for the power of poetry to inspire, connect and heal. Over the past three decades, he has written more than 400 poems and performed to audiences totalling over a quarter of a million people. His appearance on ITV’s Your Shout reached an audience of three million.

Andy is the author of several published books, including Chasing Rainbows, Discover Your Spiritual Force, Inspirations, Images of the Soul, Poetry Diary 2000, The Tao of Geriega, and Spotlight Poets. His collection Take a Stand became a Waterstones poetry bestseller, and Images of the Soul received an appraisal from the celebrated poet Benjamin Zephaniah.

His forthcoming book, The Alchemy of Broken Wings: A Poetical Guide to Fail Big, is due to be published in 2027. Drawing on his own experiences of life's challenges, creativity and personal growth, Andy explores how failure can become a catalyst for resilience, transformation and renewed purpose.

Andy believes poetry is far more than an ancient art of storytelling. It can be a companion through difficult times, a means of expressing the emotions we struggle to articulate, and a pathway towards greater self-awareness and wellbeing.

Through his performances, workshops and developing work in poetic mindset and poetry therapy, Andy continues to champion the transformative power of words.
