Guided by talented teachers, you will craft an impressive selection of Christmas recipes, from cranberry and orange scones to other seasonal flavours, before enjoying your creations in the beautiful Georgian dining room. This hands-on experience offers expert tips and new recipes to take home, providing a warm and indulgent way to embrace the Christmas spirit. The event is priced at £120.

Spend a deliciously festive afternoon baking seasonal treats and making your own Christmas afternoon tea at Edinburgh Food & Drink Academy. Guided by our wonderful teachers, you’ll make an impressive selection of festive recipes, picking up helpful tips and techniques along the way. This hands-on class is inspired by our popular Scottish Classic Afternoon Tea, with a festive twist and seasonal flavours. You’ll spend the afternoon in the kitchen preparing and baking your afternoon tea, before relaxing and enjoying what you have made in our beautiful Georgian dining room. It’s a lovely way to get into the Christmas spirit, whether you’re looking for a fun festive activity with friends and family or simply enjoy spending time in the kitchen. You’ll leave with new recipes to try at home and the expert tips to recreate them perfectly every year. Recipes may include: • Cranberry & Orange Scones • Sage, Onion & Apricot Pork Sausage Rolls • Christmas Spiced Shortbread • Blackforest Cake (Chocolate sponge, with cherry jam and whipped cream)
