About This Event

A Christmas Canapes Demonstration will take place at the Edinburgh Food & Drink Academy on 12 December 2026. Senior Teacher Colette will prepare a selection of sweet and savoury canapés while sharing techniques and tips. Attendees will taste the finished dishes accompanied by Prosecco for £75.

Get into the festive spirit with a morning of Christmas canapé inspiration at the Edinburgh Food & Drink Academy. Join our Senior Teacher, Colette, as she creates a delicious selection of festive savoury and sweet canapés, with new recipes specially crafted for the demonstration each year. The two-hour demonstration begins at 10.30am, with Colette sharing her tips and techniques as she shows you how to prepare each canapé from start to finish. The recipes are designed especially for this festive demonstration and change each year, giving you plenty of inspiration for your own Christmas entertaining. At the end of the demonstration, sit back and enjoy tasting the delicious canapés you’ve seen prepared, accompanied by a glass of Prosecco. A lovely way to spend a festive morning and pick up some new ideas for entertaining over Christmas.
