Celebrate ESEA Heritage Month with ESAS 🌿

Join East and Southeast Asian Scotland (ESAS) for a special Regenerative Community Gathering celebrating ESEA Heritage Month 2026 , an afternoon of creativity, rest, food and community connection at The Salisbury Centre in Edinburgh.

Our Regenerative Community Gatherings are spaces for East and Southeast Asian people to slow down, connect with one another and experience community in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

For our final gathering of the 2026 series, we're coming together to celebrate our East and Southeast Asian heritage, histories, cultures, journeys and collective strength in Scotland.

🌿 What to expect

During the afternoon, we'll be sharing:

✨ Talisman Making with Keng-Keng

Explore creativity, symbolism and personal expression through a relaxed, hands-on talisman-making activity. No previous creative experience is needed, just come along and enjoy making something in good company.

🌬️ Gentle Breathing & Body Check-In

We'll take a little time to slow down, breathe and check in with ourselves. This will be a gentle and informal practice rather than a formal workshop, and you're always welcome to participate in whatever way feels comfortable for you.

🌳 Garden Social & Community Time

There will be plenty of space simply to relax, chat, meet new people and spend time together in the beautiful surroundings of The Salisbury Centre.

🥢 Shared ESEA Meal

We'll also sit down together to enjoy a delicious vegan ESEA meal. Food is provided as part of the gathering.

💚 Who is this gathering for?

This gathering is centred on East and Southeast Asian (ESEA) community members.

We also warmly welcome POC friends, partners and family members who would like to attend alongside ESEA community members and celebrate with us.

Whether you've attended every Regenerative Gathering, joined us once before, or have never been to an ESAS event, you're very welcome.

You don't need to know anyone beforehand, and there's no expectation to participate in every activity. Come as you are.
