Join us for an evening walk, discovering the bats that live around Beveridge Park and learning more about these fascinating creatures. A ‘bat detector’ device will enable us to listen in on their world. Led by Tony Wilson, local naturalist. The 2-mile (max) walk will take around 2 hours, and be on mainly flat surfaces: tarmac, pavement and path. Suitable for all ages (children must be accompanied). No dogs on this walk, please. Booking Information Full price: £10 Children under 12: Free Greener Kirkcaldy members/volunteers: £9 Concessions and 12-17 year olds**: £8 Refund policy – We can refund your order up until 7 days before the event. If you cancel your order less than 7 days before the event we will be unable to provide a refund. Additional Information Please note that this walk is weather-dependent. In the event of forecast adverse weather, Greener Kirkcaldy staff will decide whether to go ahead with the walk the day before. We will contact attendees via phone, email and any cancellation will be also posted on Facebook if the walk cannot go ahead. Contact us if you need any more information. Please wear appropriate clothes for the weather. Please bring your own water and snacks. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult. No dogs please.
