Sunday 13th December

Join The People's Sauna for a Latvian Pirts sauna ritual.

Pirts is a traditional Latvian sauna experience centred around heat, and the therapeutic use of plants. It's an immersive sauna experience, incorporating traditional whisking techniques and natural herbal treatments.

This is an intimate experience for a small group of just 4 people.

The experience will include:

Oak whisking: Traditional whisking with dried oak bundles, gently working with the heat and movement of the sauna.

Plant infusions: A selection of plants will be used during the session, and you’ll learn about each one as it’s introduced.

Herbal scrubs: Natural herbal treatments to refresh and exfoliate the skin.

Herbal masks: Nourishing botanical masks to leave the skin feeling soft and cared for.

What to bring:

– Swimwear

– 2 towels (one for drying off and one to sit on in the sauna)

– Water bottle & drinking water.

– Flip-flops or easy-to-slip-on shoes

This is a sauna event. Use of the loch is optional and undertaken at your own risk.
