An afternoon of coffee tasting and socialising.
Following on from the success of "The Decaf Project" in 2024, James Hoffman has this year collaborated with Lucia Solis to split a coffee lot and apply four different processing methods to it.
Limited coffee was available, and again as in 2024 we're hosting an event so that as many people as possible can give it a try.
Although we're running this event at roughly the same time as James Hoffman's livestream, we're planning on brewing up each coffee as a batch filter coffee and running a semi-blind tasting rather than directly following along with the cupping.
If you don't wish to taste blind, a cheat sheet will be available.
From previous events we've found this to be a more approachable method of sampling for many people, but there will also be sufficient coffee available for cupping should anyone wish to do as well/instead.
For more information about the coffees that we'll be trying and to read more about the project, check out the website here (https://www.thefermentationproject.com/)
